Neolissochilus hexastichus is a species of cyprinid in the genus Neolissochilus. It inhabits the Brahmaputra and Barak River drainages in Assam in India, and Nepal[1] and possibly the Salween basin in Myanmar.[2] and is considered "near threatened" on the IUCN Red List.[1]
